I have recently read 90 seconds rule, a book from Jim Fannin the World´s number 1 coach of champions.
And I´m so pleased to share with you a subtract that I found deep in matter of business and personal life.
The 90 seconds rule
The 90 seconds rule is the perfect rule to become truly a champion in many areas of your life. But first let´s define what a champion is and what a non champion is.
I basically made this for you to compare the differences and to see where are you really standing, as many times we do not really notice and we need to READ a little bit more to be conscious of our situation in life.
As you can appreciate, not champions talk too much, overthinks situations , goes in to the past a lot , goes in to the future with assumption thinking, there are not discipline, doesn´t have a plan. The non champion doesn´t focus in one thing and is always interrupting, this person has doubts and fears, the non champion uses the sarcasm as a source to protect his own ego.
But a champion knows where to go, this person focuses in one thing at the time, this person has her chin always lifted, always positive and have no problems, only challenges. The champion goes in to the past for learning, evaluating, and once they have learned about the past, they buried at the back yard. The champion only goes in to the future, for planning and strategizing. Locking in to their moments! Alone in their own thoughts.
A champion uses the 90 second rule to be the best that she/he can be. This rule has been tried and proven in some of the most challenging life situations, the 90 seconds rule will remove all the clutter you have in mind and receive in a daily life.
Right now at this precise moment, information is bombarding our mind, we are immersed in hundreds and hundreds of thoughts daily and the media are not helping us as we receive information from our social media, facebook, twitter, instagram, tv, ipads, e-mails, etc, etc and cluttering
Information is bombarding our mind (Fb, twitter, tv, ipads, e-mails, etc etc) and cluttering our creative mind, the precious thing that we have .
How can we get rid of all this? This is not about trying to leave your media communications but making a space clear to think to reevaluate and to be creative.
With the 90 second rule you will be able to balance your life, family , relationship and business, as you will act differently, people will look at you differently, you will have more clarity, simplicity and balance, but it depends of your positivity and how often do you use the tools of the 90 seconds rule.
Step number one: Breathe like a baby
Relax, close yopur eyes, put your hand in your stomach and breath until your tommy moves your hand, then….smile, do this for 90 seconds.
When you have deeper breathes and longer exhales and when you smile at the same time, your endorphins in your blood stream billows and your breathing changes your serotonin level, both of these chemicals give you a feeling of positivity and it gives you a sense that everything is ok. That is the secret why a baby breathes and sleeps so well.
Use the baby breathe anytime you need it. 90 seconds to do this.
Life is rushing by very quickly . “The key in life to be successful, is slow life down” . Slow down the game of life!
Step number two: Reebot
Every thought is measurable and also every though in an electrical current; is an action, and every action is a reaction, but a thought has 3 reactions, so if think in something sad that changes my reaction and my serotonin levels and I feel blue and I probably will have a physical reaction ant the people around me will notice that my head is down and that there is sadness in my eyes, etc.
Every thought you have has a physical reaction and you are very readable. If I´m thinking in something in the future I look up to my right is my creativity’s house if I think about something that occurred in the past I look up to the left , If I thought about something that someone said, I look straight across to the left because that is where my memories’ house resound of what someone says and If I´m trying to project what someone is going to say and I´m thinking about it, I look straight across to my right and when I am creating sound or speech in what someone is going to say to me , now you got it, every thought you have has a physical reaction! There is a simultaneous reaction in addition to that; is called The emotional reaction, that means people can see it in your face, they can sense it in your emotion and they can pick up the vibe that something is wrong.
When you have too many thoughts and to much to think in to the future , just like your computer when it has too many programs open sometimes the computer freezes. That is the same thing that happens to us. So what do we do? We Reboot. Too many thoughts, to much chaos…
close your eyes, immerse in the moment….90 seconds to do this.
This is a technique to clear your thoughts, take a break, no future, no past, just a blind black spot.
Do not overthink! Noting in your mind but a blind screen! Use the 90 seconds rule. The reebot is a great tool.
Step number 3: Think about what you think about
We have from 2000 to 3000 thoughts a day! Can you imagine?
But what are those thoughts about? We need to do a thought inventory.
Are you positive? Do you have futuristic thoughts?
Think about, is this thought positive?
Family…what is the thought that first comes to your mind.? Positive or negative
Personal finances? Positive or negative?
Business? Positive or negative
Its time that we eliminate the things that we do not want.
When you catch yourself thinking negative, go in to the past …reboot, breathe like a baby.
The thoughts of a true champion
The champion think less. Simplicity in balance! Assumption She/he eliminates the negative thoughts such as thinking in to the future, impatient, apathy, embarrassment, assumption thinking, envy and anxiety.
Look at your life. Every week we create a collections of visions, something positive in the future for each arena.
Break the goals down; the champions win first because they have a plan.
Here is a secret of how you can reach your goals and create a plan by doing a simple tiny thing every night….
Every night before going to bed repeat over and over “I am well” I am healthy. Physically and mentally, half an hour before going to sleep is crucial, the brain repeats the same thought over and over up to 20 times and we don´t even notice but it´s there, your brain knows and works with the information you gave him. Think about your goal, think about what you want to achieve and then close your eyes and always repeat to yourself “I am well” ” I am healthy, physically and mentally”.
